What's the point?

What's the point? Why are you bothering? Why do you waste your time?
Love is a pointless thing. Unless the point, is to have your heart broken.
Mimicking lovers from a movie. You're a sheep. You're a mime.

When you "fall in love" its supposed to be like floating in heaven.
You're supposed to enjoy a quiet friday night with him,
Not sneak around and snog behind a 7/11.

If "making love" and "pleasuring someone" are supposed to be such great things,
Then why does the guy leave after a little stranger comes along?
If he won't be responcible for his "actions", then he shouldn't give her any rings.

I've saved myself the embarassement because I'm not tied down.
The relationship always seems to have a boss. A desicion maker if you will.
If that's true, then the one who's "in charge" is the head that wears the vain crown.

I still don't get it. I probably never will. But that's okay.
I'll watch the others ruin their lives, but i won't laugh, or say "i told you so",
What's the point? I still don't know. But i'll find out another day.
